Hi, I'm Noah, an event and portrait photographer based in Chicago.
I shoot events and portraits. Events are where I feel most at home because the best images come from paying attention, not directing. I'm always watching for the same things: genuine smiles, two people locked in conversation, the second someone throws their head back laughing. I'll set up a shot when I need to, but the candid stuff is what I live for.
I moved to Chicago from Hawai'i, and somehow both places feel like home. When I'm not working, I'm out with the people I love and a camera. That's not a business thing. I just like the way I see the world better when I'm looking through a viewfinder.
